Nana Beagle Adult Female for sale in Nashville, Tennessee

My story
Like many pets that enter MACC or find themselves in rescue, they have an unknown past and Miss Nana is not the exception. Unfortunately, the short period she spent at MACC she wouldnt come out of her crate and was starting to show signs of shutting down. Nana was on a 3 day stray hold, after that, MACC couldnt place her on the adoption floor due to the severe anxiety she was having. So they reached out to a rescue, who saved her. When the foster family brought her home she did come out of the crate the first day but went right to their "dog room"-.She likes to sit in chairs (and seems to feel safe there). The funniest thing Nana does is, she will come out into the house and peak around the corner and the foster will say hi Nana! and she'll seem to say yikes! and run back to the dog room.Nana is very treat driven, of any kind and the way to her heart is definitely through her stomach. Just the other day, while it was treat time, Nana came out of her room and push one of the other dogs out of her way, very gentle, but she is starting to get comfortable and trust her foster family.Nana is a sweet sweet sweet girl, but with us no knowing anything about her past...it gets difficult to know what will help her feel safe.Nana needs someone/s to give her time, someone who wants to help her come out of her shell...once that happens, she will be an amazing little girl. She deserves the chance. She gets along good with other dogs and is fine with cats (she doesn't pay them any attention). She is current on shots and is Heartworm negative.Nana is 7 yrs young. Maybe a beagle/corgi mix. (its anyones guess) 35 lbs, a low rider. HaIf interested in setting up a no obligation meet and greet, feel free to email.adoptdog@noahsarksociety.org
