The Occupational Specialist supplies and reviews household oriented services to the home health client with neurological, bone and joint, orthopedic, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; fine motor, physical motor, and developing hold-ups; and also terrible injuries and swallowing ailments. This consists of patient and caregiver education; release preparing;          and consultation to various other specialists, facilities or companies.

Crucial Responsibilities and Duties: .
Completes the initial evaluation for service receivers admitted for work-related therapy services and establishes plan of care.
Provides procedure for solution receivers to ease pain, recover or create function, and maintain optimal performance, using teaching, physical exercise, massage therapy, and applicable therapy procedure and methods.
Records, documents, and observes to the attending doctor and other team, the service recipient's reactions to treatment and any sort of changes in the service recipient's problem or strategy of hygiene.
 Instructs the service recipients and their caregivers when appropriate in the treatment and proper use of devices and  devices.  Additionally advisor and consults with the physician concerning the feasibility of tools and tools.
Instructs various other preparing group employees, family members, and/or caretakers in assisting with the implementation of Timetables and carries out treatments and appointment baseding on service recipient's requirements and the physician's  orders.
Papers suitable development and medical notes indicating solution recipient's response to the.
 Evaluates the solution recipient's development month-to-month and sends a month-to-month progress report.
 Attends Preparation Team meetings and various other meetings as requested.

Requirements: .
Education:  Currently certified by the Tennessee Board of Occupational and Physical Treatment Examiners.
Experience:  Minimum of one year in a severe treatment setup. Two years of encounter in house treatment solution preferred.
